But when Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, those who rest not their hope on their meeting with Us, Say: “Bring us a reading other than this, or change this,” Say: “It is not for me, of my own accord, to change it: I follow nothing but what is revealed to me: if I were to disobey my Lord, I should myself fear the penalty of a Great Day (to come).” (10:15)
Say: “If Allah had so willed, I should not have rehearsed it to you, nor would He have made it known to you. A whole life-time before this have I tarried amongst you: will you not then understand?” (10:16)
For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present and in the Hereafter; no change can there be in the words of Allah. This is indeed the supreme felicity. (10:64)
“And Allah by His words does prove and establish His truth, however much the sinners may hate it!” (10:82)
Or they may say, “He forged it,” say, “Bring you then ten suras forged, like to it, and call (to your aid) whomsoever you can, other than Allah! If you speak the truth! (11:13)
Allah blots out or confirm what He pleases: with Him is the Mother of the Book. (13:39)
We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). (15:9)
Say: “If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur’an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support. (17:88)
Never did We send a Messenger or prophet before you, but, when he framed a desire, Shaytan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Shaytan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom: (22:52)
No falsehood can approach it from before or behind it: It is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy, of all Praise. (41:42)
And verily, it is in the Mother of the Book, in Our Presence, high (in dignity), full of wisdom. (43:4)
Move not your tongue concerning the (Qur’an) to make haste therewith. (75:16)
It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it: (75:17)
But when We have promulgated it, follow you its recital (as promulgated): (75:18)
Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear): (75:19)
Nay, this is a Glorious Qur’an, (85:21)
(Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! (85:22)
