Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; (2:3)
And be steadfast in prayer; practice regular charity; and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship). (2:43)
Do you enjoin right conduct on the people, and forget (to practice it) yourselves, and yet you study the Scripture? (2:44)
Nay, seek (Allah’s) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit, (2:45)
And remember We took a covenant from the Children of Israil (to this effect): Worship none but Allah; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people; be steadfast in prayer; and practice regular charity. Then did you turn back, except a few among you, and you backslide (even now). (2:83)
And be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity: And whatever good you send forth for your souls before you, you shall find it with Allah: for Allah sees well all that you do. (2:110)
Guard strictly your (habit of) prayers, especially the Middle Prayer; and stand before Allah in devout (frame of mind). (2:238)
If you fear (any enemy), pray on foot, or riding, (as may be most convenient), but when you are in security, celebrate Allah’s praises in the manner He has taught you, which you knew not (before). (2:239)
Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. (2:277)
Have you not turned Your vision to those who were told to hold back their hands (from fight) but establish regular prayers and spend in regular charity? When (at length) the order for fighting was issued to them, behold! A section of them feared men as – or even more than- they should have feared Allah: They said: “Our Lord! Why have You ordered us to fight? Would You not Grant us respite to our (natural) term, near (enough)?” Say: “Short is the enjoyment of this world: the Hereafter is the best for those who right: Never will be dealt with unjustly in the very last! (4:77)
When you travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if you shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are to you open enemies. (4:101)
When you (O Messenger) are with them, and stand to lead them in prayer, Let one party of them stand up (in prayer) with you, Taking their arms with them: When they finish their prostrations, let them Take their position in the rear. And let the other party come up which has not yet prayed- and let them pray with you, Taking all precaution, and bearing arms: the Unbelievers wish, if you were negligent of your arms and your baggage, to assault you in a single rush. But there is no blame on you if you put away your arms because of the inconvenience of rain or because you are ill; but take (every) precaution for yourselves. For the Unbelievers Allah has prepared a humiliating punishment. (4:102)
When you pass (Congregational) prayers, celebrate Allah’s praises, standing, sitting down, or lying down on your sides; but when you are free from danger, set up Regular Prayers: For such prayers are enjoined on believers at stated times. (4:103)
But those among them who are well-grounded in knowledge, and the believers, believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you: And (especially) those who establish regular prayer and practice regular charity and believe in Allah and in the Last Day: To them shall We soon give a great reward. (4:162)
Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers, those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bow down humbly (in worship). (5:55)
Say: “My Lord has commanded justice; and that you et your whole selves (to Him) at every time and place of prayer, and call upon Him, making your devotion sincere as in His sight: such as He created you in the beginning, so shall you return.” (7:29)
O Children of Adam! Wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah loves not wasters. (7:31)
As to those who hold fast by the Book and establish regular prayer, never shall We suffer the reward of the righteous to perish. (7:170)
Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance: (8:3)
Such in truth are the believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance: (8:4)
But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever you find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (9:5)
But (even so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and practice regular charity, they are your brethren in Faith: (thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for those who understand. (9:11)
The mosques of Allah shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the Last day, establish regular prayers, and practice regular charity, and fear none (at all) except Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance. (9:18)
The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers, practice regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise. (9:71)
We inspired Musa and his brother with this Message: “Provide dwellings for your people in Egypt, make your dwellings into places of worship, and establish regular prayers: an give glad tidings to those who believe!” (10:87)
Those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Lord: Establish regular prayers; spend, out of (the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly; and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the (eternal) home, (13:22)
O my Lord! Make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! And accept You my Prayer. (14:40)
But celebrate the praises of your Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. (15:98)
Establish regular prayers – at the sun’s decline till the darkness of the night, and the morning prayer and reading: for the prayer and reading in the morning carry their testimony. (17:78)
And pray in the small watches of the morning: (it would be) an additional prayer (or spiritual profit) for you: soon will your Lord raise you to a Station of Praise and Glory! (17:79)
Say: “Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name you call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak your Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between.” (17:110)
He said: “I am indeed a servant of Allah: He has given me revelation and made me a prophet; (19:30)
“And He has made me blessed where so ever I be, and has enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live; (19:31)
Also mention in the Book (the story of) Isma‘il: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet. (19:54)
He used to enjoin on his people Prayer and Charity, and he was most acceptable in the sight of his Lord. (19:55)
Enjoin prayer on your people, and be constant therein. We ask you not to provide sustenance: We provide it for you. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for righteousness. (20:132)
And We made them leaders, guiding (men) by Our Command, and We sent them inspiration to do good deeds, to establish regular prayers, and to practise regular charity; and they constantly served Us (and Us only). (21:73)
To those whose hearts when Allah is mentioned, are filled with fear, who show patient perseverance over their afflictions, keep up regular prayer, and spend (in charity) out of what We have bestowed upon them. (22:35)
(They are) those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong: with Allah rests the end (and decision) of (all) affairs. (22:41)
And strive in His cause as you ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Ibrahim. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and you be withnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector- the Best to protect and Best to help! (22:78)
Those who humble themselves in their prayers; (23:2)
Who are active in deeds of regular charity (Zakat); (23:4)
And who (strictly) guard their Salat (regular prayers);- (23:9)
By men whom neither traffic nor merchandise can divert from the Remembrance of Allah, nor from regular Prayer, nor from the practice of regular Charity: Their (only) fear is for the Day when hearts and eyes will be transformed (in a world wholly new),- (24:37)
So establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and obey the Messenger; that you may receive mercy. (24:56)
And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, “Peace!”; (25:63)
Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; (25:64)
Ta-Sin. These are verses of the Qur’an -a book that makes (things) clear; (27:1)
A guide: and glad tidings for the believers,- (27:2)
Those who establish regular prayers and give in regular charity, and also have (full) assurance of the hereafter. (27:3)
Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to you, and establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that you do. (29:45)
Turn you back in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not you among those who join gods with Allah,- (30:31)
Those who establish regular Prayer, and give regular Charity, and have (in their hearts) the assurance of the Hereafter. (31:4)
These are on (true) guidance from their Lord: and these are the ones who will prosper. (31:5)
Nor can a bearer of burdens bear another’s burdens if one heavily laden should call another to (bear) his load. Not the least portion of it can be carried (by the other). Even though he be nearly related. You can but admonish such as fear their Lord unseen and establish regular Prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul; and the destination (of all) is to Allah. (35:18)
Those who rehearse the Book of Allah, establish regular Prayer, and spend (in Charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, hope for a commerce that will never fail: (35:29)
Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord- (like one who does not)? Say: “Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition. (39:9)
Those who practise not regular Charity, and who even deny the Hereafter. (41:7)
Those who hearken to their Lord, and establish regular Prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance; (42:38)
And during part of the night, (also,) celebrate His praises, and (so likewise) after the postures of adoration. (50:40)
Is it that you are afraid of spending sums in charity before your private consultation (with him)? If, then, you do not so, and Allah forgives you, then (at least) establish regular prayer; practice regular charity; and obey Allah and His Messenger. And Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do. (58:13)
And when the Prayer is finished, then may you disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah: and celebrate the Praises of Allah often (and without stint): that you may prosper. (62:10)
And niggardly when good reaches him;- (70:21)
Not so those devoted to Prayer;- (70:22)
Those who remain steadfast to their prayer; (70:23)
And those who guard (the sacredness) of their worship;- (70:34)
Your Lord does know that you stand forth (to prayer) near two thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so does a party of those with you. But Allah does appoint night and day in due measure He knows that you are unable to keep count thereof. So He has turned to you (in mercy): read you, therefore, of the Qur’an as much as may be easy for you. He knows that there may be (some) among you in ill-health; others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah’s bounty; yet others fighting in Allah’s Cause, read you, therefore, as much of the Qur’an a may be easy (for you); and establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and load to Allah a Beautiful Loan. And whatever good you send forth for your souls you shall find it in Allah’s Presence yes, better and greater, in Reward and seek you the Grace of Allah: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (73:20)
And part of the night, prostrate yourself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through. (76:26)
And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (left their hearts) in prayer. (87:15)
And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practice regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. (98:5)
To you We have granted the Fount (of Abundance). (108:1)
Therefore to your Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice. (108:2)
For he who hates you, he will be cut off (from Future Hope). (108:3)
