And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: “They are dead.” Nay, they are living, though you perceive (it) not. (2:154)
And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction; but do good; for Allah loves those who do good. (2:195)
Those who believed and those who suffered exile and fought (and strove and struggled) in the path of Allah, they have the hope of the Mercy of Allah: And Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. (2:218)
Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah hears and knows all things. (2:256)
And why should you not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? Men, women, and children, whose cry is: “Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, those people are oppressors; and raise for us from you one who will protect; and raise for us from you one who will help!” (4:75)
Those who believe fight is the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith fight in the cause of Evil: So fight you against the friends of Shaytan: feeble indeed is the cunning of Shaytan. (4:76)
O people of the Book! There has come to you our Messenger, revealing to you much that you used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): There has come to you from Allah a (new) light and a perspicuous Book, (5:15)
Wherewith Allah guides all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, to the light, guides them to a path that is straight. (5:16)
O you who believe! Do your duty to Allah, seek the means of approach to Him, and strive with might and main in his cause: that you may prosper. (5:35)
Those who behave arrogantly on the earth in defiance of right- them will I turn away from My signs: Even if they see all signs, they will not believe in them; and if they see the way of right conduct, they will not believe in them; and if they see the way of right conduct, they will not adopt it as the way; but if they see the way of error, that is the way they will adopt. For they have rejected out signs, and failed to take warning from them. (7:146)
Say you: “This is my way: I do invite to Allah, on evidence clear as the seeing with one’s eyes, I and whoever follows me. Glory to Allah! And never will I join gods with Allah!” (12:108)
And they set up (idols) as equal to Allah, to mislead (men) from the Path! Say: “Enjoy (your brief power)! But verily you are making straightway for Jahannam!” (14:30)
And to Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. (16:9)
Invite (all) to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for your Lord knows best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. (16:125)
And those who strive in Our (cause),- We will certainly guide them to our Paths: For verily Allah is with those who do right. (29:69)
O Dawud! We did indeed make you a vicegerent on earth: so judge you between men in truth (and justice): Nor follow you the lusts (of your heart), for they will mislead you from the Path of Allah: for those who wander astray from the Path of Allah, is a Penalty Grievous, for that they forget the Day of Account. (38:26)
That you believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that you strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if you but knew! (61:11)
We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will). (76:3)
